{"id":860,"date":"2020-03-12T16:15:20","date_gmt":"2020-03-12T16:15:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orientalexpressionawards.gr\/?p=860"},"modified":"2020-03-12T16:15:20","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T16:15:20","slug":"postponment-of-competition-workshops-and-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orientalexpressionawards.gr\/en\/postponment-of-competition-workshops-and-show\/","title":{"rendered":"POSTPONMENT OF COMPETITION, WORKSHOPS AND SHOW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>POSTPONMENT OF COMPETITION, WORKSHOPS AND SHOW<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dear Friends,<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of recent events concerning coronavirus and with a sense of responsibility for protecting Public Health, the Organizing Committee of the Competition has decided to <strong>postpone the event &#8221; 5th Spring International Bellydance Completion&#8221; scheduled to be held next weekend , March 21-22, 2020.\u00a0 The event included the Competition,Oriental and Tribal Fusion Bellydance workshops and the Mega Oriental Show.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our core team had a meeting today, presided by Anna Dimitratou and in agreement with the invited judges panel and the honorable guests Diana Gnatchenko and Eva Chatzichristou, we reached this decision.<\/p>\n<p>It is considering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The advice and suggestions of the Ministry of Health and the Attica Region<\/li>\n<li>Concerns of Organizers and Participants from Abroad and other Greek cities<\/li>\n<li>Protecting participants from any Coronavirus spread.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dance symbolizes joy<\/strong> and the Competition promotes noble emulation and the development of this art.\u00a0 And it is not possible to do so under anxiety and fear.<\/p>\n<p>The event will definitely take place (hopefully soon) when this fear subsides. We assure you that you will be informed in time. You will receive more updates in the next few days through our personal and public newsletters.\u00a0 Stay tuned and continue preparation from Home.<\/p>\n<p>Let us be positive that this situation gets over soon.
