ORIENTAL WORKSHOPS with JULIA FARID

The amazing Julia Farid returns to Athens at the ‘7th Spring International Bellydance Competition’ and the Oriental Expression Awards, invited by Anna Dimitratou.
Julia will conduct two workshops on Saturday 18 March 2023. The workshops will be 2 hours each and it will be Open Level.
WORKSHOPS DESCRIPTION
Classic Oriental Song
(15:00 - 17:00)
Working with a beautiful tarab song we will explore and combine elegant Raqs Sharki technique and deep emotions in expressing the lyrics of the song.
Baladi – Shaabi
(17:15 - 19:15)
Earthy and cheerful dance in urban style. We will work on a choreography paying special attention to hips technique, stylistic features of this dance and interaction with the audience.
